Dutch Blockchain Week 2022
THE BIGGEST EVENT FOR BLOCKCHAIN, CRYPTO, NFTS AND WEB3 IN THE BENELUX REGION
From November 21 to 27, the fourth edition of the Dutch Blockchain Week will take place throughout the Netherlands. During this week dozens of events are provided, such as workshops, networking events, knowledge sessions and other activities in which the Dutch web3 ecosystem and all other interested parties can participate.
Stichting Blockchain Netherlands (BCNL.foundation) is the organizer of the Dutch Blockchain Week with support from partners EY, DeSocialWorld, Icoinic, Crypto Insiders, Deloitte, Computable, Coinmerce, CoinMarketCap and tens of other community partners.

Program
BCNL itself is organizing three events during the week. On Tuesday (22/11) the 'Investor Track' takes place in Utrecht where promising web3 startups and investors are connected. On Wednesday (23/11), BCNL welcomes 100 change makers from the ecosystem to the 'BCNL Physical Event' at EY in Amsterdam for workshops, panel discussions, keynote speakers, the Dutch Blockchain Award 2022 ceremony and a networking event. On Thursday (24/11), the BCNL offers Virtual Event, which is free to all.
During this week, more than 25 other events are further scheduled, including workshops from Eight Global, Icoinic, Deloitte, DeSocialWorld and 2Tokens. Other meetings will be provided by Metasouls SheNFT, Cardano, Copernicus DAO (NFT Playground), Brighlands, Maastricht University, DAOhub, De Haagsche Hogeschool, ReCheck, Metaseum and many others. These will take place across the Netherlands in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Leiden, Maastricht and Eindhoven, among others. "We are incredibly proud, that with the entire ecosystem, we are going to put on a week of events of this magnitude for the ecosystem," said co-organizer of the DBW and BCNL board member Jan Scheele. "All important developments are covered, all leading persons and parties from the ecosystem contribute and are part of the week."
Dutch Blockchain Awards
This year, the BCNL Foundation will also once again present the Dutch Blockchain Awards 2022. From Nov. 9-21, the public can vote for Dutch Blockchain Awards nominees in the six categories: Enterprise Solution Award, Meaningful Education Award, Impactful Person Award, Technology Implementation Award, Best Newcomer Award and the BCNL Community Award. The awards will be presented live to the winners at the BCNL Main Physical Event on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Former winners include Bitvavo, LTO Network, Cryptotakkies and Dusk Network.
Web3, Blockchain, Crypto, Metaverse and NFT are hot topics
Awareness and understanding of the enormous potential, innovation and adoption has grown significantly over the past year. This industry also has many challenges. Rudolf van Ee (Chairman at BCNL) states, "The commitment and drive behind the Dutch community in web3 and blockchain is incredible. There are so many new startups and innovative projects, educational institutions are implementing web3 in their curriculum, companies are contributing and a lot of new talent is entering the space. This is reflected by the great program that has been created!"
