Als er één industrie is, die veel te maken heeft met veranderingen dan is het de muziekindustrie. De afgelopen 25 jaar waren er veel disrupters: oa Napster, Youtube, iTunes & Spotify.

De muziekindustrie moest meebewegen van CD’s naar iTunes, van downloads naar streaming, van betalen per song naar een abonnementsmodel.

In deze sessie gaan we in gesprek met twee music professionals over NFT’s. Hoe kijken zij naar NFT’s en waar zien zij de kansen?

NFTs en zijn een heuse hype te noemen. Na de ICO-gekte in 2017 en DeFi-hype van 2020, zijn NFTs en het nieuwe gespreksonderwerp in de jonge crypto- en blockchainwereld. De Metaverse is nog zo’n term die je momenteel om de oren vliegt, als we Mark Zuckerberg mogen geloven doen we over een paar jaar alles vanuit huis, in een virtuele wereld.   Maar als we verzamelwoede rondom digitale aapjes en virtueel vastgoed even los laten; Waar zitten dan de echte duurzame kansen voor bedrijven?  Hoe kunnen NFTs in bedrijfsmodellen worden toegepast? Hoe worden deze vandaag de dag al gebruikt? In deze interactieve sessie leggen we de basisprincipes van zowel NFTs als Metaverse uit. Vervolgens onderzoeken we samen de bedrijfstoepassingen die deze twee ontwikkelingen met zich meebrengen. We gaan uitgebreid in op Noordhoff, de Groningse educatie uitgever die als eerste ter wereld speciale edities van boeken uitgeeft als NFT. Ook kijken we naar Your Open Metaverse, een platform voor Artiesten, Brands en Creators, dat een NFT Marketplace voor Virtual Assets en NFT minting gaat combineert met een complete creatieve vrijheid om Web3.0 experiences te ontwikkelen.  Vragen die we behandelen:  Hoe worden NFTs nu al ingezet?  Waarom? Wat voor bedrijfstoepassingen van NFTs zijn mogelijk?  Waar zit de toegevoegde waarde?  Welke uitdagingen zijn er?

In the past few years, the potential use cases and opportunities of NFTs have exploded, with many projects ceasing the moment!
NFTs for unlock much new potential, since decentralization gives full control to the NFT
holders and owners of their underlying assets.

In this session we will shed more light on how NFTs and NFT projects are governed, emphasizing not only on the endless opportunities,
but paint an honest picture by also demystifying NFTs and look at the risk. Besides the governance of NFTs,
we will also look into how NFTs could be used in governance themselves, e.g. in the governance of Decentralize Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).
